Extremely Vivid Dream

Last night before going to bed, I prayed and I asked the Lord to give me some kind of vision or dream. Now I never do something like this, but for whatever reason, last night, I did expecting nothing to really happen. Well let me tell you, my prayers were answered big time. I’m not going to go into what the meaning of the dream might be or what kinds of metaphorical, spiritual, or even literal interpretations that might come from the dream since I really have no idea at this point. But I wanted to get the dream down while it was still fresh.

Here is what went down in my dream:

The first half was interesting in that myself, my wife and my daughter were hanging out and actually living in a one story beach side home that was relaxed and low key. The details of the rooms and the floor plan are really vivid in my mind but it’s not really important. I was walking around outside with some neighbors when a large mechanical device that was floating in the air came down to meet me eye to eye. On the drone was a small screen where I can make out three people that looked like they were sitting in front of a computer as if they were on Skype. They were supposedly controlling this drone from some other country. They people waved politely and asked, “How are you doing?” I replied, “Great. Where are you from?” They answered, “England. Thanks for saying hello. Here’s a gift for you.” At that point a 20 dollar bill and a bag of candy dropped out of the drone and into my hands. I thought, “…that was odd.” The drone sped off to indulge with other kids in the area who were fascinated by this shinny object floating through the air like a giant mechanical bug.

I then walked over to an area which was next to a large field where I met up with some friend from church. We walked up to a booth which resembled a bar with stools and a table where a guy was showing old movies. We sat down messing with each other and telling jokes like we always do when all of the sudden, the guy who was behind the counter pointed at the sky to our right and said, “what is that?” I looked up and saw a swirl forming within a large cloud far away. We gazed at it in amazement when all of the sudden, the cloud began to recede very rapidly revealing the blue sky behind it. A genuine feeling of terror and fear went through me as I watched the cloud recede. It was one of those moments in dreams where you have an emotional reaction because you know what’s going on, but upon waking up, have no idea what that certainty was. I suddenly got several text messages on my phone that were titled, “look what’s happening in New Zealand” and “Look at what’s happening in Australia!” For some reason, I knew this was big and had something to do with an alien invasion or some form of attack on the world via advanced technology. Whether it was real or staged or what, I wasn’t sure, but my immediate concern was to get back to my house and get to my family. I began to run when I saw several light green orbs  come over the horizon very rapidly coming straight towards where I was. It swooped down and dropped what looked like little rock pebbles. I was able to evade the rock pebbles, since somehow in my dream, I knew they were dangerous. The orbs swooped to my right, went vertical, and then stopped in mid air hovering. I don’t think I can fully describe the fear I felt. It was immense and almost blinding. I stumbled and fell over and dropped my cell phone since I was running while looking to my right and not paying attention to the ground. It was strange since it felt like these orbs which were so high up were looked right at me.

As I reached down to get my cell phone I woke up. Again, I’m not going to really try to interpret this dream or I guess nightmare but it was one of those moment where I was terrified upon waking up. My first thought was, “that was intense.” It took me several minutes to shake off the drowzy state I was in, but as I got more and more aware that it was a dream several thoughts came to my mind.

First was that God had answered my prayers from the night before. That somehow, I knew God had deliberately given me some sort of vivid dream or vision upon asking for it. Amen to that. Second, and more disturbingly, I was upset at myself for not rebuking these orbs in my dream. I was upset that I didn’t call upon the name of Jesus and think about HIM while I was taken over by fear and terror. Third, I realized that if this sort of thing would happen in our natural world, my first reaction would be of fear and terror exactly as it was in my dream, and not of calling upon Jesus or rebuking these things. I prayed about it felt called to blog about it today.

I am not a big “all dreams have supernatural message” or “dreams are us in other dimensions” kind of guy. Although I have been known to have very extravagant dreams in the past, just ask my wife, this one was different since it happened after several months or perhaps years of not having a very profound dream, and after praying to God about it.

It reminded me of Acts 2:16-22 when Peter quotes Joel 2:28:

No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ -ACTS 2:16-22

Now first off, I don’t consider myself an old man yet, and I am certainly not saying that this is some sort of prophecy of what’s to come. But I find it interesting that it lines up to what some Christians researchers are saying is the Coming Great Deception. Of course LA Marzulli is the guy who coined the phrase, but it goes along with what Chuck Missler talks about, Guy Malone, Russ Dizdar and the Black Awakening, and others mention as a possible end times scenario.

All I know is that I need to pray more, ask God for more guidance, and put my trust completely in the Lord Jesus Christ because I know that if stuff starts going down, I will stand in the name of Christ no matter who or what the opposition.

“What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?”-ROMANS 8:31

The Truth Behind Ghost Hunting

A couple months ago, I was listening to Nowhere to Run with Chris White and he mentioned that making a video on some ghost hunting shows him and his wife watched would be a great evangelistic tool. Needless to say, I was inspired by it and decided to take it on. Now I’ve never made a video before and took some time doing it but I didn’t want to wait forever so I settled at a certain point so I can get it out there. I have no idea if it’s any good, but my hope was to at least have a video up on youtube and elsewhere that tackles this topic of ghosts from a biblical perspective. The research for the video forced me to dive into the bible deeper than I’ve ever done before and it was a blessing, but this video probably goes into only 25% of the stuff I found. I will probably make a couple more of this topic to really get into what scripture has to say about it. But in the meantime, I wanted to get it up to get feedback and constructive criticism so that I can take that into the next videos I make on the topic.

Here’s the video:

Thanks for taking time to check it out and to check out my blog. It’s been really cool to dialogue with people about some of these topics and I hope to do so more and more as we all try to figure out what it means to love Jesus and love other people.

Desensitizing America: Lady Gaga and the NWO

As I sat in the dentists office where my wife was about to get her wisdom teen pulled, I scanned at the magazines scattered over a table. The first one that cough my attention was a Vogue magazine with Lady Gaga on he cover. My curiosity was raised so I decided to pick it up and read the article of a person who is the biggest pop star in the world at the moment who has millions of fans all over America and he world. After nearly 600 pages of fashion ads, I got to the article where images of Gaga strutting in elaborate, eerie, and elegant outfits stood as bold as the image on the cover.

Before I dive in, I do want to say that prior to becoming a follower of Christ, which basically at first shattered my perception of reality, I was in a band and I was an aspiring musician hoping to be that rock star who would use his fame to do good in the world. This is precisely the persona that Lady Gaga has taken. She is seen as a tremendous talent who is using her fame and fortune to preach freedom, self expression, and self righteousness. This is apparent with her forth coming album, “Born This Way.” But there seems to be another side to this whole ‘rock star’ ‘pop star’ ‘express yourself freely’ thing. Now prior to becoming a Christian I would have judged her purely on her musical ability. I would have thought she was a pretty good song writer with a good voice and would have bought into the hype of free speech and free expression and the message of, “you are perfect the way you are” whether that be gay, straight, promiscuous, fit, out of shape etc. It is a very good message on the surface and is very much the mentality that many kids and young adults my age hold today. But as with anything, I believe there is a spiritual component to the message. The spiritual message that I get from Lady Gaga is do and be whatever you want to be because there are no consequences. Just take a look at her own words when she spoke about her intense fans. “I see myself in them…I was this really bad, rebellious misfit of a person-I still am-sneaking out, going to clubs, drugs, alcohol, older men, younger men. You imagine it, I did it. I was just a bad kid. And I look at them, and every show there’s a little more eye-liner, a little more freedom, and a little more ‘I don’t give a f*** about the bullies at my school.’ For some reason, the fans didn’t become more top 40. They became even more of this cult following. It’s very strange and exciting.”

Now isn’t it interesting that this ‘freedom’ comes with a complete submission to a person who is merely a talented and arrogant musician? I know what it’s like to look up to musicians and aspiring to their message and their beliefs and wanting to be like them. But now that the veil has been lifted off of my eyes, I see this as only an illusion of freedom. In fact the bondage to such ideology leads to more people believing it’s ok to be rebellious, drunk, on drugs, and promiscuous. We live in a free country, at least for now, and the beauty of it is that each person can live any way they please to live. However, my contention is that this is precisely what the NWO (New World Order) and be Illuminati want the majority of the world to buy into. They want people to buy into the perception that their freedom to express who they are and what they are is making a positive impact on humanity and society. It’s is the lie that says, “we don’t need God, because we have ourselves.” It’s buying into the oldest lie in human history. Consider the following quote by Gaga:

“I want for people to in the universe, my fans and otherwise, to essentially use me as an escape. I am the jester to the kingdom. I am the rout out. I am the excuse to explore your identity. To be exactly who you are and be unafraid. Not to judge yourself, to not hate yourself…as an artist and as a performer, the person that they look up to to create this space of escapism, I want to give my fans nothing less than the greatest album of the decade. I don’t want to give them something trendy. I want to give then the future.”

Maybe it’s just me and my conspiratorial mind, but she sounds like a mouth piece to the NWO. She wants people to “use (her) as an escape.” Escape from what? Reality? If she is talking about the reality of God and the reality of Jesus Christ as our only means of salvation, then she is doing a good job. Then she goes on to say she is the “jester to the kingdom.” I don’t know what kingdom she is referring to, but she has been seen on CNN and Larry King Live saying she believes in Jesus Christ. Now there are some who outright have said she is of the devil, and although I don’t necessarily disagree, my approach to exposing this possibility is a bit different. Of course the bible shows that the devil himself and demons believe in Jesus Christ. That doesn’t mean they are of Christ or of God. This of course is quite obvious to people who follow Christ’s teachings.

“I am the rout out. I am the excuse to explore your identity.” Now she is beginning to sound like she has a Christ complex. She is essentially saying she is the means to salvation, an answer to the problems we see in the world. Now, how can you be the answer and the escape at the same time? It only makes sense if you realize that what she is saying is a deception. She is basically inferring to “Escape from the world, follow me, and find your true identity because I will allow you to explore it freely.” Again, the NWO wants people to believe that they are free from the alleged oppressive world. But anyone who has ever looked into the NWO and the Illuminati knows that the plan is to build, purposely destroy so that they can come in, save the day and gain everyone’s support as a means to enslave them. The final line of the quote to me further perpetuates this idea when she said, “I want to give them the future.”

Why is the message of the NWO so obviously against Christianity? I believe it’s because the bible deliberately exposes this evil plot. Some would say of people like Lady Gaga “But it’s just entertainment!” Perhaps. And I realize I am not the first to make the NWO-Gaga connection. But whether Lady Gaga herself realizes it or not, she is leading millions of people astray from the truth. Many flock to her seeking not just entertainment, but literally, to quench the spiritual thirst that is present in all of us. I know this because I was the same way. I sought spiritual wisdom from musicians I looked up to and other people in the media as a child growing up in a secular home. It’s subtle, but it’s very real.

If you think I am nuts, consider what God told us in the bible some two thousand years ago through the apostle Paul.

“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”-2 Timothy 4:3

I believe the fame of pop stars like Lady Gaga is part of the fulfillment of this verse. Of course, the idea of people “…seeking their own desires (and) gathering around teachers who say what their itching ears want to hear,” goes beyond someone like Lady Gaga and popular music. But I would say this is prime example of not only the verse but the infallible authenticity of the Word of God.

As a human being, my hope is not to eliminate Lady Gaga or her fans etc, but like my purpose for this blog in general, to expose the darkness and call it for what it is. A room can be completely dark with no light in it, but light one candle and the darkness evades. Darkness cannot ever overcome light. I believe God placed this in our existence as the ultimate analogy of his power, sovereignty, and authority.
