Olympic Games 2012: Thoughts on the Opening Ceremony

Ever since the opening ceremonies for the Olympics commenced on July 27th (the last day of the week of important Satanic ritual dates), the internet has gone wild in the conspiracy circles of what all the pagan symbolism meant. While I could go through every single piece of pagan imagery used in the opening ceremony, I’d rather point to the spiritual and emotional ramifications while pointing out just one symbol as the ultimate example that defines what all of this was about.

THE PLAN OF THE NWO

Let’s first consider the plan of for the Illuminati and the New World Order. The goal is to form a one world government, one world economy, and “peace” on earth. Keep in mind that part of the plan is to make it look like the Illuminati and the New World Order are defeated in order to bring about this system. But there is a deeper spiritual plan at work here as well. I believe that there are sincere people who are part of this movement without knowing the hidden agenda behind it all. The bringing about of the Antichrist. The world is not going to accept or desire anyone who comes to the forefront of the world stage and declares himself as the Antichrist. That would be way too obvious. However, if he appears as some sort of Savior figure, the world might rejoice and even worship such an entity. Therefore, I believe the kinds of imagery and the overall contentions of the symbolism behind the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games is to promote the concept of unity, peace, security, and a utopian world where people come together and unite. And what better place than the Olympics when the world is watching.

BEYOND THE SYMBOLS

Most folks in the world don’t think like the crazy conspiracy theorist Christians, so the imagery was over their heads. And that’s not to say that we are smarter or better than anyone else, simply that we as watchmen and researchers see the world through a different lens. But again, it’s not the symbols alone that I want to focus on because I believe this ceremony dug much deeper into the core being of humanity. Let me explain. I believe the true indoctrination into an alleged One World system commenced after all the musicals and acts performed their pagan imagery.

There is something emotional, desirable, and idealistic about an event where representatives of many nations all around the world join together in a peaceful celebration, acknowledging each others achievements. I for one remember the feeling of joy as a youngster watching the March of Nations and seeing the various countries walking in holding their flag in pride and a sense of accomplishment. As someone who was an aspiring athlete, the Olympics were a personal goal of mine. In fact, I’ve had many friends, teammates, and acquaintances over the years make the Olympic team and win gold medals. But it was that emotional tug that I think is the key element here.

As I watched the ceremonies this year with a keen eye on all the symbolism, what stood out, was this walk of nations. I felt that same emotional tug I felt as a youngster. It was the small nations who only have a population that could fit into an American football stadium be represented by two or three athletes, to our own nation of the USA walking with hundreds of athletes. It was seeing all the nations gather in peace that stood out to me and made me wonder, “Why can’t we all just get along….just like we are here?” But that’s just it isn’t it? That is precisely the stronghold of the Antichrist. That is precisely the emotion Satan wants us to conjure up because it is this emotional appeal that will bring people to accept the Antichrist and the one world government when it occurs. The moment I realized this, my emotions actually got stronger in the sense of becoming saddened. Not because the world can’t attain the level of peace demonstrated here at these ceremonies, but rather because this appeal of peace and unity is simply a lie and tool of Satan.

THE SYMBOL

The one symbol I will use as an example in this post will be the grassy hill shaped like a ziggurat with a tree on top. Now many conspiracy circles have talked about how this hill just represents the Glastonbury and the tree is the tree of life. But I beg to differ. I believe the hill was a ziggurat because that’s exactly how the tower of Babel was made, the first attempt to establish a true one world order. Then at the top was the tree, which I believe was actually the tree in the middle of the garden. The one that bears the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. The one that brought about the fall of humanity. Why do I think that? Because when it comes to the esoteric teachings, it was that forbidden fruit that set us “free” from the prison that was the Garden of Eden. It’s the twisting of Scripture that all secret societies teach as part of their worldview and cosmology. It’s the idea that YHWH God was the evil one, and Satan or Lucifer is the true Savior. It is the greatest lie that has permeated our world.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe this is part of the great deception being promoted to the masses. A peace that will be so strong that people won’t be able to resist it. A delusion that will cause all to worship the beast and the Antichrist. I also believe that as these things become more and more externalized, the dividing line between those of us who truly hold onto the Word of God and Yeshua, and those who compromise or outright hate the believers and followers of Christ. This plays right into what Yeshua told us many many years ago.

“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”

~Matthew 24:9~

Here are a few links where you can get some insight and opinion into the direct symbolism used in the ceremony itself.

God’s DNA Upgrade

It wasn’t long ago that I was totally emersed in new age teachings of David Icke, David Wilcock, Project Camelot, Jordan Maxwell and the like. This came at a time just a couple years after I was saved. I figured, if the Bible is true, then there should be an answer to all of these so called “new age teachings” I was finding online. The unfortunate thing was that I didn’t find the answers at my home church. Consequently, I began to seriously question my new found faith. Maybe it was all a hoax after all and Christianity was a farce as I had thought most of my life.

One thing that was really intriguing to me was the teaching of David Wilcock and his theory that we will all experience a DNA upgrade when on December 21, 2012 a wave of conscious energy emanating from the center of the galaxy will hit our solar system and effectively hit the earth changing our DNA instantaneously. Wilcock called this the ascension. Many other new age teachers and preachers have similar concepts they promote.

THE ROOTS

We know that at the core of all new age teaching are the mystery religions. We can trace this back to the tower of Babel where Nimrod ruled. In Genesis 11:6, the Word states “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” At this point, God scrambled the languages and the people dispersed. What resulted were many cultures and religions each having their own version of the “secret teachings.” Whatever Nimrod knew at the tower of Babel, it was something that God had to put an end to.

This concept of exclusive knowledge goes back to the Garden of Eden and one of the three main lies of Satan as well. In Genesis 3:5 it states, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” This was a lie because with God walking with us in the Garden, our eyes were already opened in a sense. In effect, the second part of that lie, “ye shall be as gods” is also the source of all new age teachings. I cover this a lot in my film AGE OF DECEIT: Fallen Angels and the New World Order.

ASCENSION

So getting back to the teachings of David Wilcock’s ascension idea, let’s briefly look at the “evidence” he uses to promote this idea. At the top of one David Wilcock’s many articles reads:

“Imminent, spontaneous energetic transformation of our entire Solar System?

DNA written into the fabric of the Cosmos as a waveform?

A scientific case for a new, Galaxy-wide model of human evolution?

Yes.” [1]

Without getting into quoting all of Wilcock’s material let me give you a brief overview of each one of these topics and what the “evidence” is for each case.

Imminent, spontaneous energetic transformation of our entire Solar System?

Wilcock here uses current scientific research to suggest that we are all living in a specific frequency of energy density. In other words, much like we can’t see into the electro magnetic field, or infrared, our line of perception only lies in a small sliver of reality. Much of his speculations about ascended masters, aliens, high spiritual beings, the higher self, etc come form the idea that they live in higher densities of reality, or higher frequencies of existence.

While this is true to some regard, I would contend that what Wilcock is essentially describing is the spiritual world. We can compare what Wilcock is trying to say with what Dr. Michael Heiser has pointed out as the description of the word “Elohim.” Dr. Heiser on his website The Divine Council talks about how the word Elohim, while most believe is just another name for God, includes some other entities in the Old Testament. Dr. Heiser states:

“Demons and the spirits of the human dead are also called elohim in the Hebrew text! Angels may also be called elohim, depending on how one takes a text or two. If we don’t come to grips with just what an elohim is, it can create a lot of confusion. We can’t very well have God, the gods, demons, angels, and the spirits of dead people all interchangeable with respect to their attributes! That just makes no sense—and highlights why understanding the term elohim as denoting a certain plane of existence is so critical to getting the Bible’s worldview and its theology right.” ~Dr.Heiser~

So it’s interesting to note that what the Bible seems to describe as a spiritual world, where angels, demons, and even what appear to be the spirit of the dead roam, Wilcock refers to as “higher densities.” The Bible does talk about the first, second and third heaven. Wilcock’s spiritual realms are divided up to at least 7 densities where the highest is the “divine cosmos” which is his term for God.

But what Wilcock presents as part of this “spontaneous energetic transformation” is that our entire solar system, including ourselves, are going to evolve in an instant, in “the twinkling of an eye” into a higher density. While I don’t have the direct quote, I’ve even heard Wilcock go as far to say that as long as one is 51% of service to others and not service to self, they will be included in this upgrade.

DNA written into fabric of the Cosmos as a waveform?

Wilcock’s “theology” comes from a pantheistic view of the world. Therefore, consciousness is God. His theory is that this consciousness, which is God is, manifests itself as waveforms in the physical world of our density, and as a way to “speak” into our existence forms DNA. Wilcock even goes as far to say that anywhere where there is space-time-matter-energy, this conscious mind is forming DNA. He uses examples of molten hot chambers spontaneously creating forms of bacteria, or how there are similar sea creatures at both the north and south pole indicating that the earth’s consciousness forms life on this planet and the poles are where this consciousness is leaking out. This idea stems from what we looked at previously about a cosmic chain of entities starting with consciousness. Wilcock uses this theory to suggest that Galaxies are living entities with a conscious mind. Then solar systems, then planet, then us.

In many ways, this is sort of a new age twist to what God tells us strictly in the Scriptures as Him speaking the world into existence. God is the author of this universe. He is also the author of consciousness. I am positive He is conscious, but to suggest that therefore, the galaxy, the sun and the earth to also be conscious entities is a bit of a stretch. What Wilcock is basically saying is that because these planets and stars a higher evolved conscious entities, we will soon becomes like “them.” I don’t know about you, but do you think humanity will ever “evolve” to a point where we have a hive mind and become “gods” in a sense that we are a large lump of rock? Doesn’t sound too exciting is you ask me.

A scientific case for a new, Galaxy-wide model of human evolution?

So this is a kicker. As I mentioned before, according to Wilcock, the galaxy is spewing out rings of energy that will hit the earth and instantaneously evolve us to a higher consciousness. The data he uses to back this up are interesting. First, he shows how there is a cycle of magnetic energy in the solar system that comes every 26,000 years. He then shows how every planet is getting hotter and hotter in the last several decades. According to Wilcock, this indicates the energy rings from the galaxy getting closer to our solar system. He then uses research from obscure russian scientists to show his “proof.” My favorite one is where Wilcock explain how these Russian scientists took the embryo of a salamander, shot a non-burning laser through it, and then shot that laser to a frog embryo. What apparently happened was, the frog embryo turned into a salamander. The idea is that the code for our make up is in the DNA and this energy blast from the galaxy is going to change us, just in the same way the frog turned into a salamander.

God’s DNA Upgrade

So after all of this beating around the bush about what may or may not happen at December 21, 2012 and even more, the DNA upgrade from a conscious living galaxy and the whole bid, Wilcock fails to realize that the real DNA upgrade was promised to us from our heavenly Father.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sina for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

~2 Corinthians 5:17-21~

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

~1 Peter 1:23~

“So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body…As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality…”

~1 Corinthians 15:42-54~

So in Christ Yeshua, we are a “new creation.” Some translations call it, “new creature.” When we are born again we become born of the spirit and of heaven. Our destructible and decaying bodies become incorruptible and indestructible. It is the only way we can be in the presence of God. In other words, God’s DNA upgrade to us is going to be quite remarkable. We are effectively going to be like Him!

I say all these things not to condemn David Wilcock because I sincerely think he is trying to find truth. If Wilcock supporters or David himself saw this post, I’m sure he would chalk it up to someone who doesn’t understand his teachings. While I will admit I don’t do it full justice since I was trying to sum up years of David’s research in a single blog post, the gist of it remains the same. We must pray for him to see the true light and the source of life, which is not consciousness, but Yeshua alone.

Are the Nephilim Returning? (Part 1)

What a hot topic? This is one of those things that has caused division even amongst our own brethren. While both sides have solid arguments for their position, ultimately it comes down to how each individual interprets Biblical Prophecy. I for one am open to either possibility. Like many other subjects that are part of the eschatological milieu of modern Christianity, I like to read into all sides of the argument and hold something in between. I know the dangers of becoming dogmatic over issues that are not core to being a follower of Yeshua and so I try to be as malleable as possible in my stance. This is stance I recommend everyone in the body of Christ to take on such trivial matters. I have seen too many people lose fellowship, friends, even jobs over doctrinal differences and to me that’s just silly. Seeking such answers as “Are the Nephilim Returning?” should be something we as an entire church body should do rejoicingly, because ultimately, in either case, we know that our Lord is close.

METHODS

There are two basic methods to consider. While these two methods are beyond the need for this short study, I thought I would include it to create a backdrop to the way we will approach this issue.

1. Man-Centered

2. God-Centered

Man-Centered

The first way we look at this is simply a humanistic account which places man’s destiny and it’s eschatology under the guidance of what can only be empirically measured. This view will only look at the events unfolding in front of us and use it as the basis for what we can expect to see in the near future. In terms of applying this to our discussion about whether the Nephilim are returning, it would merely be looking at our world events and then trying to get them to fit into Scripture. The danger with this method, is that man’s pride and arrogance takes precedence over the Word. And while not all of us are free from this criticism, it is the far extreme of this position that can land us in a place that is not only dangerous to our theology, but to others as well.

God-Centered

This is obviously the antithesis of the man-centered view. With this view, we use the Word of God as the beginning and end of our authoritative template as a means to understand the world around us. While from the onset, it seems this is the preferred method for those of us who study the Word this too has its dangers. For one, as with the Man-Centered view, we can become filled with pride and even go as far as to suggest that we are hearing from God directly to carry out some atrocious acts. While this is an extreme case, history is filled with horrendous accounts of murders, massacres, and the like all under the guise of, “God told me to do it…it’s in the Word.” As it applies to our own study of the Nephilim, we can become so entrenched and dogmatic over the fact that because we don’t see the word “Nephilim” in prophecy, that it’s impossible for the counter position to be true. Nevertheless, the God-centered method, with all of its implications taken into consideration, is the safest way to parse out the truth and ultimately where we should land with any of our theological and eschatological positions.

My Method

So how do we parse this out? On one hand, we see things unfolding in the world that seem to indicate that something strange is going on. Genetic modification, transhumanism, the singularity, human-animal hybrids etc etc etc. On the other hand, we know that what’s not in Scripture, is not in Scripture and should not be of our concern. As I mentioned earlier, I think it’s best to be malleable but ultimately siding with God. What I am suggesting is not compromise. Rather, it’s having the ability to step into the shoes so to speak of man’s view of the events, and then step back into God’s view. And while we won’t see everything God sees, we can prayerfully ask Him to reveal to us the things He wants us to know. Ultimately, no one is going to have it all correct. Only God has all the answers. But while we are on earth, we can rejoice in the Lord and seek these things out to see whether we can make sense of them. So without further ado, let’s dig into the main verse we will look at today.

AS THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE

One of the key verses that is focused on in this “Return of the Nephilim” debate is Matthew 24:37 and as an echo to it, Luke 17:26. Here are how these passages read:

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” Luke 17:26

PRO End Times Nephilim

The argument is simple from the Pro-End Times Nephilim camp. After reading this verse you ask the question, “What was it like in the days of Noah?” The answer is found in Genesis 6. The sons of God mating with the daughters of men with Nephilim being born unto them. (If you don’t hold the fallen angel view of Genesis six, please visit this link and study up on the topic. What seminary taught you on this issue is wrong!) This is quite remarkable if Yeshua was indeed pointing us back to Genesis 6. Knowing that the disciples were well aware of how the world was in the days of Noah, they would have immediately recognized the implications. From this perspective, it is quite obvious that the Nephilim, or at least the sons of God, must be present during the end times.

ANTI End Times Nephilim

But let’s see the argument from the other side. The anti-Nephilim in the end days suggest that one must take these verses into context. So let’s look at a few verses before and after the verses in question.

“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.” ~Matthew 24:32-41

Okay so there is a low to soak in here. I included the parable of the fig tree because I thought it was important to understand what Yeshua is talking about here. The fig tree is Israel. The basic message from the parable is that we would know the season for the time of the end. Our Lord Yeshua continues by suggesting that when we see these things happen, we will know the end is near. The things of which we will see happen are the things He spoke about throughout the Olivet Discourse. They include wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, famine, the abomination of desolation etc.

Leading right up to the verse in question, Yeshua states that “of that day and hour knoweth no man, no not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” What’s interesting is that this phrase, “Of that day and hour knowth no man” is another title for Rosh Ha’Shana, one of the Hebrew feasts. And while undoubtedly, we have no idea when the end will come, nor the angels, I believes Yeshua here is giving us a clue. In any case, the verse in question is afterwards when it states, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The Anti-End Times Nephilim crowd will use this context to say Yeshua was NOT speaking about the presence of Nephilim. Rather, they would suggest that what Yeshua was speaking about was simply the attitude of the people, unaware, business as usual, until the day comes like a thief in the night. The characteristics that Yeshua describes as, “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” in isolation certainly reflects an attitude of complacency. And for this reason, the Anti-End Times Nephilim camp suggest there will be no Nephilim in the last days.

LUKE 17:29

I wanted to include this verse as part of something to consider as well since it often is brought up by the Anti-End Times Nephilim crowd as another point to discredit the whole Nephilim in the end times theory. The verse reads:

“But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.” ~Luke 17:29~

The argument says that because this is after the flood, it completely negates the use of Matthew 24:37 to show that Nephilim will be on the earth. However, the counter argument is that the Nephilim, or at the very least, the sons of God in some manner were there in the days of Lot as well. The proof text the Pro-End Times Nephilim crowd uses is in Jude 1:7 where it states:

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” ~Jude 1:7~

They argue that “strange flesh” is talking about something other than humans. Perhaps angelic, perhaps Nephilim. The second part of the argument is that when the two angels went into Sodom to look for Lot, the house they were in got surrounded by the towns people wanting to seek the angels to “have sex” with them.

“And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.” ~Genesis 19:5~

This clearly shows some sort of physicality regarding the angels, but also the evil that was in the hearts and minds of those who were in Sodom. This again brought about the destruction of that city. It wasn’t mere complacency that brought judgement.

SO WHICH IS IT?

Since we’ve really only looked at a couple verses, it’s unfair to suggest whether we know for sure or not whose right on this debate. Next time we will look at other places in the Bible that both camps use to defend their opposing positions. But to try to sort it out here, I want to really look at Genesis carefully because the argument built on the Pro-End Times Nephilim is predicated on the accounts of Genesis 6.

The verses that really jump out when looking at Genesis 6 are as follows:

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart…The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” ~Genesis 6:5-6, 11-12~

Now if we are to understand what Yeshua said in Matthew 24, and subsequently in Luke 17 and apply what God says here in Genesis 6, I think we start getting a clearer picture. We see five distinct characteristics in the days of Noah before the flood from these verses.

1. Wickedness of man was great.

2. Every imagination of the thoughts of mans heart was evil continually.

3. And it repented the LORD that he made man, and it grieved Him.

4. The earth was corrupt before God and filled with violence.

5. All flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

So if we are compare these points with “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” we can clearly point to the reality that the eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage was NOT simply a point of complacency, but of evil to the point where it grieved the Lord. If this is the case, then it doesn’t negate the Anti-End Times Nephilim argument outright, but it shows that the argument from complacency is refuted.

CONCLUSION

So far, it seems like the Pro-End Times Nephilim have a small upper hand. However, the reality is that the Scriptures never explicitly states that there are, or needs to be Nephilim on the earth in the end times. So in this regard, the Anti-End Times Nephilim crowd still has validity which is basically an argument from absence. Nevertheless, the debate will go on until we either see a 30 foot Nephilim giant rise up out of the ground, or we are gloriously taken out of here by Yeshua our Lord.

Again it’s difficult to know from just studying a few verses, but the topic is certainly intriguing. We were able to stay very God-centered in our approach in this short study. Every point of contention was argued from the Scriptures. While this is good, in the future as we explore these concepts in more depth, we will bring in some man-centered argument and perspectives to see how they affect the Scriptures and how it applies to us today. My hope is that I was able to stay balanced and fair looking at this topic. It’s certainly not central to our salvation in the Lord Yeshua, so I advise everyone to seek these truths with an open heart, and an open mind, not letting pride and dogma take precedence over the common unity and bond we have in Christ Yeshua.
